Sid and Marty Krofft are the latest addition to MySpaceTV, as they launched an exclusive channel on the online community site.
The new channel, called "The World of Sid and Marty Krofft," will feature numerous short-form episodes from three- to five minutes long from seven of their former TV series. There will also be some full-length content included on the branded channel.
Included on the channel will be Sigmund, H.R. Pufnstuf, Sea Monsters, Dr. Shrinker and Land of the Lost.
Vice President of marketing for MySpace, Josh Brooks, said about the new channel and the Kroffts: “The minds of the Krofft brothers have dazzled people for generations. The resulting works are entertainment institutions. By bringing this content to MySpaceTV, we are opening their work and legacy to millions of people who may not otherwise have been exposed to the mad genius of these iconic creators. It’s another example of how household names are making MySpace their home on the web and taking control and using the community on MySpace for new content options.”
Other additions in the future for fans will be some behind-the-scenes footage, interviews with the Kroffts, and other outtakes.
The brothers will also communicate with fans on a regular basis through video and introductions to content.
