The notorious Texas judge who abused her authority in the polygamist sect case, Barbara Walther, now has an online petition aimed at impeaching her for her outrageous conduct in the fiasco.
At GoPetition.com you can sign the petition to get her removed from office.
After ruling the Child Protective Services could go in and simply take over 460 children from the compound, based on a phony phone call, the appeals court, as well as the Texas Supreme Court, ruled she had overstepped her bounds; ruling the children had to be returned to their families.
The petition doesn't have anything to do with whether you agree with the polygamists concerning their practices and beliefs, but has everything to do with a runaway judicial and Child Protective Services arms of the government which far exceeded and abused their authority.
If this type of activist nonsense isn't stopped, don't think you couldn't be next. The type of power the Child Protective Services has in the United States is unprecedented, and needs to come under review and have many more checks and balances introduced into the system to protect people in situations just like this.
Once there are enough people signing the petition, it will be sent to lawmakers in Texas to hopefully take action on.
