Two of the easiest ways to get some quick cash online is to find out if you're unknowingly owed it. You may be surprised to find out if you're an American, that one in eight people are owed money for a variety of reasons.
Another good thing, is you can check for free whether you are owed money or not, and in just a couple of minutes.
An official national database is set up for that reason called Missingmoney.com, where you can fill in your basic information and find out quickly if you're owed money.
If you've moved a lot over the years, the government may owe you money too, as they have about $100 million from 2006 alone that people haven't received. Most the time that's from people moving and not leaving a forwarding address, so the check is returned to the IRS, waiting to be retrieved by the owner.
Similar to Missing.com, all you have to do is go to IRS.gov and click on the "Where's my Refund?" area and put in the required information.
The average money owed to Americans is between $800 to $1,000. Why leave it sitting on the table, when with a couple of clicks you can get what's owed you?
