I am a seventeen year old girl thats about to graduate from Farragut Career Academy next month in June. I have a one year old son name Amari and Im all he's got in the world. A couple of days ago my grandmother stopped saying she was going to put me out and actually did. Now I have no idea where me and my son is going to go. I miss days out of school, that I don't need to miss, because I don't have a stable baby-sitter. If yo u could help us in any way we would forever be grateful.

Hello I am a twenty-three year old single mother. I have three children by the age of eight five and six months. I'm a very in need to be pick for the lottery pick. I currently live in a low-income build right now I really need something better for my kids. My daughters constantly breaks out in rashes for the condition that we live in our build is infested with mouse bedbugs and who knows what else just the other day I saw a mouse jump out of my bed while my infant child was taking a nap how scarey is that please help me get my children out of such a poor living condition.

I have been living in a big apartments complex with my four children's two on ssi and i am also ill with lupus and severe hearing loss in both ears. I need a better place were some children's are doing things like throwing rocks at my windows putting there hands on my children's, drugs in the hallways, property being destroy inside and outside. I don't have a peace of mind i will like to be one of the people to get pick because i have been waiting since 1993 and i just wont a change to get be a home a house so i wont have to worry about these things and it would be a peace of mind for me and my family.

I am a female who has been homeless way to long.I am praying my section 8 comes through.I got shot in torso when i was 16 and i'm now 26yrs.and there isn't anybody who will help me or take me in like they did when i was 16-18 years old.I hope my condition get better or stay the same but not worse.As i'm getting older i am realizing its hard out here, especially trying to work these odd jobs to make ends meet.I can't depend on any job and i really really i get the right help i need.And no i do not have any kids.I hope that is not a qualification.

It seems that Chicago and the rest of the world is in great turmoil, nevertheless life goes on. I have children and am in need of housing assistance living in someone else home and looking very hard for a job, whats a single black woman to do? I wonder if help is really out there? Seemingly no one has heard anything else about the section 8 program anymore, if there is help still available, I am hoping someone will let the public know.

I find it funny that 40,000 people supose to have a spot for that section 8 list I find it bs people looked out for there family first when theres other people out here struggling for the samething and to have some one one who works in that force to cheat there family members in is full of you know what as longs as people in the work force knocking every one else down to get there family ahead is not right theres it sounds like more people got denied then anything you all are full of crap have a nice day
