St. Patrick's Day and Special Deals to Offer Your Customers

With the economic news continuing to confirm the slowing down of the economy, and potential customers being bombarded with an endless stream of negative energy, business and price increase stories, we need to be reminded of the fact that people are getting - and will get - even more lethargic with their spending.

Keeping that in mind, days and seasonal events will become even more important for our online marketing strategies to loosen up their wallets.

We can use these events to give an excuse to add anything to our present product and service offerings that will add delight and surprise to our customers, while getting them in the mood to buy.

St. Patrick's Day is one such time and event, which has become synonymous with fun and celebration. We're also in the midst of the March Madness NCAA basketball tournament, which will extend well into April. These types of days and events are great opportunities to offer special deals and discounts that encourage people to spend their money.

One of the things to think about, is when people are happy and light, they tend to be more receptive to what we offer them. So when we do these types of things, keeping the spirit of fun and enjoyment is a key to making it work really well.

Of course what we offer is important, and needs to be of perceived significant value to those that will benefit from it.

These economic times demand that we do this type of thing on a continuous basis to keep people aware of, and ready to do business with us. Don't underestimate the importance of adding value to what we're currently offering. The times demand we do something beyond what we normally do to keep up with our sales.

St. Patrick's Day is a good reminder as to the powerful motivator deals like this can be to our customers. We'll need them over the next year or two, as it will take some time for the economy to straighten out.
