
With the opening up of Hulu to the general public in March, anticipation of the event has generated quite a bit of news and interest for the video download site.
Many changes and stories are also appearing daily, as it seems the other major studios are looking at getting on board, and the changing media marketplace is in flux consitently against the past business model.
Hulu CEO Jason Kilar is already calling for advertisers to change their thinking with the Hulu model, and move away from the ubiquitous 30-second ad they've been so used to in the past. That's got to change says Kilar.
NBC Universal CEO Jeff Zucker adds that even with the introduction of Hulu, he has no idea where things will end up.
Hulu is a joint venture between News Corp. (NYSE:NWS-A) and NBC Universal (NYSE:GE), which offers free professional video of premium TV shows, clips and films on the internet.
It has won grudging praise from the blogosphere on its quality of experience for users, along with its solid interface.
