
Sony Pictures Television announced at the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas it would be distributing minisodes of its more popular TV shows on YouTube (GOOG).
The Minisode Network will be the venue used to showcase the various shows, which will include "Married With Children," and an animation block, among others. Altogether there will be 21 shows from Sony offered on the video-sharing website.
Sony added that they'll be looking to add original content on the network as well, along with other channels.
The Minisode Network takes a show and narrows it down to bite-sized, condensed pieces viewers can watch in a very short time; usually about five minutes each, which will be the approximate length of the Sony videos.
Sony will share ad revenue with YouTube in the partnership.
