I guess we've discovered a new use for blogs, defending photos taken of us. That's what Jennifer Love Hewitt did when a batch of photos taken by paparazzi in Hawaii when she was vacationing with new fiancé actor Ross McCall, hit the Internet.
Once the photos were scattered online, the talk about her, ah, large behind, as portrayed in the pictures, got her a little in a tiff.
Hewitt said on her blog: "I've sat by in silence for a long time now about the way women's bodies are constantly scrutinized. To set the record straight, I'm not upset for me, but for all of the girls out there that are struggling with their body image."
It's humorous after saying she's not upset for herself, to hear her write in her blog that "What I should be doing is celebrating some of the best days of my life and my engagement to the man of my dreams, instead of having to deal with photographers taking invasive pictures from bad angles."
This is the first time I've heard of someone blogging in defense of their butt. Oh well, the burdens of being a celebrity.
Hewitt announced last week she was engaged to Ross McCall, althought a date for the wedding hasn't been set.
