An interesting statistic to go with our holiday season, are the Christmas songs most searched for over the last 30 days (as of Dec. 14), according to Yahoo buzz.
One other important detail, searches for "Christmas music" and "Christmas Song Lyrics" were just as popular as the term "Christmas" itself.
It probably won't surprise most people, but the classics definitely dominated the overall top 10, although newcomer "This Christmas" was able to land in the No. 7 spot.
Leading the way was the ode to lead reindeer Rudolph, who finished No. 1. Jesus didn't get a lot of attention with this list until He was acknowledged in the No. 8 position with O Holy Night. The only other song where Jesus was represented was with Silent Night, which was right after O Holy Night in the No. 9 position.
