
On Thursday, ABC (DIS) announced it will now offer some of its shows for free on AOL Video. Some of the shows included will be "Lost," "Grey's Anatomy" and "Ugly Betty."
Citing ABC, bizjournals.com said it "will also include a variety of new ABC shows. The episodes will include up to three interactive advertisements from one national sponsor along with a local ad based on the user's geographic location, according to a release."
The network will also include shows from its fall primetime lineup soon as well, which will be shown, along with the others, a day after they're aired. Episodes will be available starting next week.
ABC also said in general, there will be four episodes of each series available at any one time.
The ad-supported initiative with AOL Video, will include embedded ads in the videos.
