
The original participants in the lawsuit against Google (GOOG) is growing as companies and various copyright owners experience increased frustration at Googles' refusal to stop the onslaught of illegal videos.
The initial parties to the proposed class action suit against Google and YouTube were Bourne & Co, a music publisher; the English soccer Premier League LTD and Viacom (VIA-B).
Now joining the suit are author Daniel Quinn, the National Music Publishers' Association, the Rugby Football League and the Finish Football League Association.
The journalist who filmed the brutal attack on Reginald Denny during the 1992 L.A. Riots, Robert Tur, has withdrawn his original suit against YouTube and is joining the proposed class action suit.
"The clear and growing message to YouTube and Google is simple: their callous and opportunistic business model is contrary to right, contrary to law, and must and will be stopped," Premier League spokesman Dan Johnson said in a statement.
Google had no immediate response to the new additions to the suit.
