DVDVideoSoft has launched a new web site that is a one-stop shop for an exhaustive number of video tips, tools and free, downloadable software.
The service is unique in that it's more than an aggregator of 3rd party products, rather DVDVideoSoft "carefully designs, develops and releases under its own name all free software titles available on the site to computer users absolutely free without any hidden fees, subscriptions or registrations."
The site includes a number of tools that can help convert YouTube videos to iPods, iPhones and MP3. You can do the same with non-YouTube videos as well.
There are also free downloads available on site to convert video to almost any format you desire ... including DVD to AVI, MOV; WMV to AVI, MP4; WMV, MOV to
DVD; VOB, VRO, IFO to DivX; DVR-MS to DVD, AVI; and AVI, WMV to 3GP, among many others.
There are a ton of guides on the site to answer just about any question a person has on the subject.
According to the company press release, they say there goal is to "Make free and easy-to-use software with straightforward interface focused on very specific purposes so computer users can perform their particular tasks in video processing fast and easily."
All programs offered on the site are freee and will run under any Windows, including Vista.
While there is a lot of this type of stuff online, I do the the accountability factor that comes with the developing of their own free tools and building up of their brand.
Along with the new software site, DVDVideoSoft also runs the popular video conversion site VIDOKY.
