Condé Nast Publications has an upscale travel site called Concierge.com on which they're putting up an increasing number of video tours to highlight the destinations. You could look at videos of Rio, New York, London, Paris and Miami when I checked it out.
The videos are produced by TurnHere and take visitors through various parts of cities the particular demographic is most likely to be interested in; including shopping, attractions and night life.
While the company is starting on their own website with the videos, they also have plans for expanding the offerings beyond the site by giving their partners the ability to embed them.
Richard Glosser, executive director of emerging media, CondéNet said, "We're actively in a handful of discussions to have video travel off our site. Condé Nast has affiliates around the world, and we'll translate and serve video content
wherever our partners have the ability to embed it. We'll even work to have advertisers follow the content to other sites."
Another distribution method they're looking at is RSS. The only question is if this particular market interacts with content that way online. If it does, it's of course a good way to extend the brand through their online video tours. The company should be able to track the videos as well with RSS feeds through the recent partnership entered by TurnHere with Pheedo.
This should be a good addition to their online marketing plans and results, as high quality video and photos are a necessity online, or anywhere else, when marketing to those in the luxory market.
