
Internet users in the UK stream online video more than any other country, according to comScore. Of all UK online users aged 15 or over, 80 percent watched an online video in April 2007. Their closest rival was their neighbor France, who were right behind with 79 percent, the US had 76 percent, and Germany was fourth with 70 percent.
During the entire month of April, UK users streamed 80 videos on average. Users in the US were next with 65 streams, France users were third with an average of 64 streams, and Germany was fourth again with 62 average streams a month per user.
The leading sites UK users streamed video on were Google (GOOG) first, which accounted for 38 percent fo all streaming, Yahoo (YHOO) was second, then the BBC, Fox Interactive Media (NWS-A) and Microsoft (MSFT).
