With a "Sweet Sixteen" party being one of the more important events in a young woman's life, MTV has been tapping into that importance with their "My Super Sweet 16" tv show.
Working in concert with their focus on creating a variety of online sites, MTV is now extending the reach of "My Super Sweet 16" through their newly launched MySuperSweet16.com Web site.
The Web site offers teenage girls the chance to plan every stage of their special day in detail.
Site users will be able to create their personal party page, where she can upload photos and give out information about what they plan on wearing to their event to what goodies, entertainment or other things they will experience for their special 
day.
When users look at each others party plans, they will be able to choose which party will be put on the homepage of the site, along with with being included in a future episode of "My Super Sweet 16."
The new site is obviously set to launch in conjunction with the premiere of show on Monday, it's also a part of an ongoing strategy my MTV to put up hundreds of niche online sites.
This is the fourth launch of stand-alone Web sites by MTV in the last couple of months. The other launches were YoMomma.tv, ShortCircuitz.MTV.com and RealWorldCasting.com.
MTV plans on continuing the rollout of niche sites for the foreseeable future.
