It didn't take long for QubeTV to get a huge surge in traffic as the new right-leaning video-sharing site got a big lift from a link from the Drudge Report.
As of today, on the front page of the site the video that YouTube banned by Michelle Malkin is up front and center to show the differentiation between QubeTV and YouTube.
According to site creators Jeff Lord and Charlie Gerow, both former aides to the late President Ronald Reagan, the goal of the site is empower “a conservative army with cameras.”
They have a pretty humorous saying at the top of each page saying, "Starring The Vast Right Wing Conspiracy," a reference to Hilary Clinton's obsession with a ficticious, imaginary group of people she blames for her policies being rejected.
In a post on their blog last month, Gerow said: “With the good folks from Google taking over YouTube, you saw an increase in the tightening of the spigot of information and an increase in the censorship of the site. We saw a real need – not just an opportunity, but a real need – for a social-network site designed for
conservatives.”
This will interesting to watch to see if conservatives make it a lasting, growing alternative to other video-sharing sites.

The whole thing is based on a lie. the Malkin video was not "banned" from youtube.
..but if all they to showcase their ideoloy is Malkin, they are doomed.
