
In an effort to draw out their inner "kitchen," General Electric (GE) has launched a new Web site called "Confessions from the Kitchen," and asks visitors to offer up their best kitchen secrets which could end up in them starring in their own commercial.
Users are able to go to the GE Kitchen Confessions.com site and create their own ad online by submitting a story, photo and headline for consideration.
Included in the initiative will be a campaign which will offer four print ads during the months of May and June in some of the better known women's lifestyle magazines, which would include Every Day with Rachel Ray, Better Homes and Garden and Sunset.
A spokesman for GE said that some submissions would be looked at to be made into print ads in the future.
