Joining the increasing number of companies creating a virtual presence in "Second Life," Best Buy (BBY) is now building its Geek Squad Island where their technical support people will be available for free advice concerning computers.
Just like their real-world counterparts, the Best Buy avatars will be dressed in white, short-sleeve shirts with their black pants and badge, while being located on the company island. It seems that they will have some workers wondering around 
the general world as well.
The company will keep virtual hours which will start at 6 p.m. and end at 3 a.m. EDT, every day of the week. They also plan on putting on virtual events on a regular basis on the island.
