With broadband use growing strongly and video site proliferating as a result, people are looking all over the place to find unique, interesting content.
The recent announcement that there will now be a broadband network that will only show TV commercials reveals the market that exists for those who can create video for the Internet. It doesn't have to be the Hollywood type either; most people on the Internet don't care about the perfect visual experience at this time.
Nobody really knows how deep the existing video libraries of TV or
movie studios really are. How much have they kept that seemed irrelevant at the time, but now is one of the most desired components of the viewing experience? I'm talking about deleted scenes, maybe spontaneous talks of actors on the sets or who knows what else that went on. People can't get enough of this stuff.
But for the online business marketer, if you have the desire to enter into this field, it offers great opportunity to be a content provider for an almost unlimited desire for video consumption by the public.
Just like anything else - think niche - and go from there. This will be a huge growth area for years and years.
