Don't Forget the Business to Business Niche Market
One market that can be overlooked because we think of serving individual people, is the business to business market.
While the needs serving a business market may be different, they're just as diverse, and in many cases, more financially rewarding than even the business to customer market.
This is an area where expertise is in even more demand. With such a high 
percentage of businesses failing within the first five years, there are all sorts of opportunities to offer expert services that can create business customers for life.
The major problem in this niche is convincing businesses to cough up the money for your services; especially small businesses.
Other Niche MarMore than individual customers, businesses will need to be shown the benefits to the bottom line of their business to get them listening to what you're offering. You've got to have the benefit-to-cost down pat when you attempt to sell to them.
Other than that, the process of finding a niche and filling it isn't much different than selling products or services to individuals. You go through the same things to determine what it is you want to offer.
Just understand that business owners deal with vendors and salespersons on a daily basis, they have a thick skin that can be tough to break through. To me in this space, it's even more about selling yourself before you begin to sell products and services. It can take longer to break in, but once you're in, it can last much longer than fickle consumers.
