As we go deeper into the secrets of a niche being the marketing, we'll look at some examples of businesses that represent that.
I'll use one that I observe daily because my wife is one of the "true believers" of the brand. It's the American Chopper TV show; if you can call it a TV show. What exactly is it? It's somewhat realty show, a business diary, daily lives and variety of characters and people involved with making some cool stuff.
Now let's look at it from the core group of people that love it. In the case of my wife, she doesn't have to be marketed to, because if she goes shopping anywhere and finds something with OCC (Orange County Choppers) on it, she'll buy it. In her estimation there isn't enough stuff out there to find. That's how anybody in a core group of
a niche believes: there's never enough that you can get from them.
Why doesn't anybody need to market to her concerning the brand? Because the niche is the marketing. All they've got to do is remain true to who they are and bring out neat stuff that their fans want to own.
The key to success is remaining true to what draws people to you in the first place. If that isn't abandoned, you will succeed beyond your imagination in the market you serve.
