
We've talked about the importance that curiosity plays in direct response advertising; while it is an essential element to advertising success, it's not the only component to look at.
What curiosity ultimately leads to is your imagination. When you go through the various processes of curiosity, a story begins to unfold. The result is that our imagination takes hold of that story and begin to shape and mold it into something; something that is compelling which was discovered from our moments of curiosity.
The amazing thing about our imagination is that it takes hold of what is and makes into something beyond what we know; it goes beyond curiosity in that sense.
As we looked at in the last post on niche marketing, it allows us to create something that has meaning to a specific group of people; it will move, inspire, and be fantastic to them.
Curiosity can reveal to us data and how people feel about things, whereas imagination takes it beyond that into creating something that appeals to the things we've discovered.
Letting our imaginations go is a critical part of the success we have in online marketing. Let your imagination go once your curiosity has cashed in upon what is moving people. The result is the thing that you will shape your direct marketing efforts around.
