There is one thing that the majority of people promoting or even involved with niche markets don't really know: Having the niche is the marketing.
Now think slowly and clearly about what I just said. The niche itself is not only the market; it is the marketing.
If you know what you have appeals to a core group of people, and you find them and provide them with the material that attracts them and their interests, you're marketing is already finished.
What does that tell you about marketing? Marketing is finding the "true believers" in whatever niche that they exist in.
Does that mean that you won't have to appeal to them? No, that's not what I'm saying. What I'm saying is that once you find your niche, the
appeal has already existed. Aggregating the niche is the key to success. Once it's aggregated, you can just about throw anything out to them and they'll respond in a big way...as long as it connects with the purpose for getting together.
Now listen closely to this: To discover a niche is to discover the true believers.
I'm now going to contradict myself from what I said above concerning throwing anything out there to a niche group of people, so that you can understand what it is I'm saying. How do you market to a "true believer?" The answer is really simple: You must market to them "truly." You can't just throw anything out there over a long period of time or you will no longer be considered one of the insiders.
However you market to them, (and they don't mind being marketed to) you must remain true to the core of the reason and purpose you exist with and for them in the first place. Staying true to the core purpose and consistent in your outlook is the key to offering to them things that they will appreciate. The result will be that they will never leave whatever it is you're doing.
The only way they would leave is if they are no longer a true believer. In that case they no longer have a purpose in what the group is doing.
If you can follow through on the thoughts I've introduced, it will revolutionize everything that you attempt to do in online marketing.
