
A recent study to find out the statistics concerning click-through and open rates of email campaigns was performed by eROI during the second quarter. Their finding were that Saturday had the highest rates of either category than all other days.
The open rates for Saturday were 38.3 percent, with click-throughs being 5.4 percent. Sunday open rates were real close behind with a 37.1 percent and click-throughs at 5.2 percent. Fridays were the worst day for open rates at 32.7 percent.
When people were asked when they wanted to receive business emails, overwhelmingly it was on the first two days of the week. They chose Monday at 33 percent and Tuesday with 36 percent. The choice for personal emails was Friday with 31 percent.
