The most recent report by The Pew Research Center For The People & The Press notes that 31 percent of people in the U.S. use the Web three days a week for their news source.
Another important discovery that is made upon telephone surveys with 3,204 adults during the months of April and May, was that at this time, most people consider and use the Web as a supplemental resource consumed with other forms of media, rather than a main source.
Most people like to use the sites that are updated a number of times each day, rather than only once. Something to keep in mind in this arena, or in blogging.
Even though people are going more and more to the Web, it isn't quite ready to replace the print media yet. Still, it is growing and its strength of convenience, interactivity and shorter stories, offers consumers chances to quickly see what is happening and make a decision if they want to pursue the story further.
The report said that the five most used news sites were MSNBC, Yahoo, CNN, Google and AOL.
