
The ubiquitous Post-it notes brand by 3M, has started a new site called MyPostItSecret.com. Its purpose is to show consumers the various and numerous products that are included with the Post-it brand.
When you get to the site you encounter two people Lauren and Nicole who represent two different sites.
The site is set up to allow you to sneak, ur, rummage around Lauren or Nicole's rooms in order to discover where their Post-it secrets are hidden. As you find the secrets, you are offered chances to enter more sweepstakes based upon how many you find. There is also the opportunity to ask for free samples.
It's really a good, fun idea. My first reaction was that they should have empowered the visitors to be able to post their own secrets, then I found out that although it wasn't included in this part of the launch, they will include it when they upgrade it soon.
While it is a great idea now, it could really take off when individuals can visit and put their thoughts on an online Post-it note.
The fun side of it along with the coming interactivity should allow visitors to be educated about the number of products represented in the brand. I have to admit it made me think of them in a way that I haven't for a long time.
