With the steady barrage of information, products and services being touted everywhere, one of the great weaknesses we have is that we are so curious and interested in everything, that we continuously try it all without ever making decisions about what will benefit our businesses the best.
Yes, I did say curiosity can be negative when all it does is lead you from one thing to another without ever entering into a more indepth search of what it is you're looking at.
A lot of times what's really happening is that you really don't want to make a decision about something, so you keep searching for that new thing because you tell yourself that it's not the right one for the job.
Now this could be true in a lot of cases, but when you never make a decision after searching over and over again, then you are procrastinating for another reason and bouncing from one thing to another as a result of it.
Most of the time when this happens, it is because there is a need to change something, but you don't really want to go through the practical process of having to do it.
The result is that you waste a lot of time and energy putting off what you know deep down needs to be done. So keep that in mind when you're bouncing all over the place, and look to see if what you're doing is really putting of a decision that needs to be made.
Have any of you found yourself in this place and realized that it was what you were doing?
