Most online marketers have a pretty good idea of how to set up emails and have good content connected to the interests of their readers. Many still have a problem though with converting their readers to buyers; whether through their own products or products and services of others.
Here are several things to do to help you increase your email conversion rates:
1. The first thing to do is to continually test various combinations. The frequency of the email being sent, whether to send text, html or maybe even video emails. Look at where you place certain advertisements. Track and measure everything to see what works best.
2. One of the greatest weaknesses of marketers is their landing page. We must have it completely optimized. It must be simple and easy to use. The call-to-action path must be concise, clear and easy.
This is still a huge weakness among many marketers who could increase sales and conversion rates tremendously if they turned their focus to this.
Remember that everything must be integrated into a whole. Doing one or two things right won't cut it anymore. The whole package must be put together for the customer's benefit.
3. Another great mistake made all the time is the connection and value between the offer and the landing page content. They must be in sync. To have offers in your email unconnected to the content of your landing page is a huge mistake.
If you have advertisers that market products or services quite different from each other than make a landing page for each one if needed. The readers will convert much higher with relevant content.
Experiment in these areas and you'll find your conversion rates increasing along with your profits.
