
If you've ever bounced around the SEO forums, you know that one of the most asked questions is, When do you know when your page has been indexed on Google (GOOG)? One simple answer that you never find is that you could use Google Web Alerts.
All you have to do is enter your unique search words, (that identify the page), and then set the alert to look for all new Web pages, and ask to be alerted once a day. This should bring notification when your title tag appears in the index. Yahoo! (YHOO) also offers a similar version of Web Alerts.

One other little neat benefit of Web Alerts is that you can watch the growth of your competitors and their indexed content.
