The Alpha Marketer![]()
You make a web site for only one reason: to get results! There shouldn't be anything on your site, or on any page, that is wasted. A web site needs a fast-loading quality design, quality significant content on every page and clear formatting.
But here is where a lot of marketers drop the ball when it comes to answering this one, essential question for the visitor: What's in it for me?
You do know, I hope, that nobody visiting your site cares at all about you; they care about themselves. Every page you have on your site needs to take that reality into consideration. Everything must exist for your visitors and the action you want them to take for their benefit.
This one insight can change your business dramatically in its purpose. If things have been disappointing in the results you've been receiving, ask yourself that question on every page of your site as you go through it. If a page doesn't exist for your visitor, then why have it exist at all. Make sure they see from the page what is in it for them, or make sure you answer the question if it doesn't. Your results will increase exponentially.
