You now know the way. We have talked about here and others have for years about technology being for the consumer, not for the business.
Now when you consider the simplicity of YouTube and MySpace, it's not hard to figure out why they are so successful: make it simple for the end-user and you have hit the pot-of-gold at the end of the rainbow. That is what they have done.
What's the secret? Make everything so easy that all you have to do is click a button, and then simply get out of the way of the visitor and let them do what they want. Simple? Powerful? Check out the success of YouTube and MySpace and tell me.
Here is another secret that is happening, and if you understand what it implies, will change the way you do everything. Here it is: As everything is made to be easier, the less tech savvy you have to be and the more it begins to be intuitive like life really is. That's all you need to know. And if you see it you should be shaken in what it is you're trying to do online and begin to look at everything you're doing to see if it complies with this reality.
It doesn't matter if you're niche marketing with this thought in mind, the results are still the same. Make sure everything on your site is so easy to use that all anybody basically has to do is press a button to do what they are attempting to accomplish.
Next don't in any way think that you will know what people will want to do with your site. Oh you want them to do something for sure, but what I mean is don't put anything in the way of what it is you're attempting. Just let it be as simple as "click" and it's done. Press a button and it's accomplished. Do that and you will dominate any niche you want to be involved in.
