
One way you can learn about where the business focus is going is through examining the outsourcing industry. In the area of the tech industry, it is growing out from call center, telemarketing and transaction processing to the creative outsourcing side which includes animation, gaming content, e-learning and e-publishing.
In the area of content, which all of this is, it is the making of visually interactive and intelligent content that entails creative outsourcing.
I'm saying all that to show where some key growth areas are going to be steadily expanding in the future. We need to concentrate more on the e-learning and e-publishing side of things. It's not that the others aren't important, but most online marketers will be involved with the learning and publishing side of online business.
This area of growth is not going to stop, in my estimation, for decades to come. It is set to explode and some of the countries that are being looked for to outsource are even finding trouble getting enough workers to meet the demand.
Take close looks at your interests and niche markets and look for ways to add elements of the publishing and learning aspects to what you're doing. The public has an insatiable appetite for these types of online offerings.
