The real secret to online success is invisible

invisible.jpgThere is a secret out there that a lot of people know concerning diets: for the most part they all work! It is never the diet that is the problem, it is always the one attempting it. What does this have to do with online marketing? The same thing applies. Most of the strategies and techniques you have learned, again, for the most part work. It's what's inside of a person that makes a difference.

It is that invisible thing inside of someone called persistence, patience, putting up with things, taking it one step at a time and hard work. All of that comes from within someone.

From a baseball point of view is the equivalent of hitting a single over and over again, rather than trying for the big home run.

In case you wonder about all the seemingly overnight success stories online, there is a reason for it. For the most part those that score big when they start out online, have already been in other businesses that have created an existing customer base. They have written books and are already known. So when they do their marketing, they already have an existing audience ready to buy. They also have learned how to write great ad copy and how to do direct sales. That's the real story about so-called Internet overnight successes.

Yet, I know even a number of the big players that have taken quite a while to reach good success online. So don't be discouraged about the time it's taking you. Take one thing at a time an learn it and become good at it. When you master that go on to the next one.

Just remember one thing, for example, affiliate programs. Everybody starts with the same tools and product or service and yet some shine and do fantastic. Most of the time it is the simple element of sticking with it until it succeeds.

The one other thing that's included in this is that those that are successful will try something for a while to see if it works. If it doesn't they drop it try something different until it does work. I'm not talking about trying one program and after a month quiting and trying a new one. Why I'm talking about is within the program you're working with, try different things until it's successful. If others are doing good with the product, so can you!

Whether it's affiliate programs or your own products and services, don't give up and experiment and adapt. These are the invisible attributes that all successful marketers have within them.
