While most of us that have been online awhile know how comparatively inexpensive online marketing can be, many don't really take advantage of this like they could.
Even if your only desire is to offer one service that does real good on the web, you need to take into account testing things.
If you are offering only a very narrow-niched product or service, you will still eventually have to offer more than one thing within that niche.
Now what is great is that it doesn't have to cost you a lot of money. One way that you could do it would to add it to one or a couple of heavily trafficed pages one your Web site, to see how they do. It is a simple task to measure responses and feedback if there is any.
The total cost of all that? A little bit of time and a little space on a couple of your web pages. That's it! If it does fairly well, you could include it on other pages, or in your e-mail list offerings to expand its reach.
What's great about this is that it is so simple and efficient to do. You can do this one thing over and over again to your existing customers that already trust you and have a steady stream of income for the rest of your life.
If you don't want to spend a lot of time creating a product or service that you can't be sure will work, offer something from someone else that has a similar (but different) appeal to what you're thinking of offering. If it works with that, you can be pretty sure that it will work with what you're wanting to create.
Not only does this help you in testing with little time or effort, but it can even pay you to do it. Now you just can't beat that can you?
