Manufacturing Information Systems (MISys) has realeased their new management system called Samll Business Manufacturing, for the purpose of making operations run smoother as small manufacturing plants.
According to MISys, the system is able to manage inventory raw materials, work in progress, BOM revision control and multi-level bills of material. It is made for manufacturing firms with less than 75 employees.
Its core functions will include physical inventory, comprehensive stock transfer, production work orders, cost rollup functions, an easy-to-use manufacturing planning facility and user-confiurable alerts that mine manufacturing data and offer suggestions for the proper response. At extra cost you can add Advanced Purchasing and Bin Tracking.
MISys is selling the new software directly and in cooperation with Intuit, Microsoft, Sage Sap and Softrak channel partners.
