To make things even a little more effective you can each add a little testimonial about why you are including or recommending the link you’ve added. You can do this indefinitely; changing mailing to mailing or week to week or any combination you want to work out with those you do business with.

The only thing to keep in mind concerning this is to make sure those you ask have similar list sizes or customers. While it doesn’t hurt to ask those that have bigger lists, you will have to give incentives to do it.
