Google Accidentally Leaks Search Engine Secret – Part 2

links.jpg While for those of us that have been in the Internet marketing business for a while, writing and submitting articles has always been known to be one of the best, legitimate means of generating more traffic, sales, and subscribers.

This needs to be one of the foundations for your online marketing. You need to begin doing it immediately. That’s what this story is all about; the unveiling by Google that this is what they are looking for from webmasters.

Where do you begin? Where should the articles be submitted?

First - Pick a topic that sizzles

If you already know the market you’re targeting for the article, this won’t be much of a problem. If you don’t, simply do some research. Snoop around looking at everything concerning your target market. Research it and look out for what is working for others. What are the topics that are being thrown around everywhere you go on the net? Are there certain keywords that they are using to search online?

Article directories are good places to frequent as they contain up to date articles on contemporary topics. Some of these directories allow you to view the more popular topics in the database. These types of databases number close to a hundred and possibly even more, and the great majority of them are free.

Second - Choose a “Compelling” Heading

A title that is compelling? That’s absolutely essential. Realize that your title is the headline that will determine if the person will enter into your article. It’s got to pack a little wallop. Because your title will be competing with other titles, something must be written that will compel the readers to want to read it.

Third - Proofread Your Article

This isn’t like your writing a hundred different articles that might contain a couple of errors here or there. No! We’re talking about writing one dynamic article that is going to represent who you are. This one article cannot be filled with terrible grammar or typos. If you need to, hire a proofreader. This shouldn’t cost too much for an article, and it is well worth the positive results you’ll receive from their professionalism.

Lastly – Have a way to do the next step

At the end of the article you must ask for and have a way for the reader to take the next step. It’s the last thing a reader will see. This is where the purpose of the letter is brought to its climax.

Whatever it is you want the reader to do, again, make sure that you ask for it in a compelling way. Of course one of the major things is to have your link back to your website right there for them to click on. After all, the reason for writing the offer and asking them to do something is to get them to link back to your website.

Be creative in this and see how quickly your link popularity rockets up into the stratosphere.
